Martin Kappenman is a shareholder in the Minneapolis law firm of Seaton, Peters and Revnew, P.A. He represents employers in connection with the full range of employment and labor law issues. Gregory Peters is a shareholder in the Minneapolis law firm of Seaton, Peters & Revnew, P.A. Gregory Peters’ practice focuses on labor and employment litigation where he represents employers before various state and federal courts, the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Department of Labor and parallel state agencies. Doug has concentrated his employer-side practice in three areas: (1) labor law, where he deals with collective bargaining, strike, impasse and picket line planning, withdrawal liability issues, employer/union transitions and double-breasting or dual shop planning; (2) litigation involving statutory and constitutional challenges, labor law preemption, and “labor policy” matters; and (3) strategic litigation avoidance and legal compliance planning. He also handles labor-law related and non-competition/non-solicitation agreement litigation, National Labor Relations Board, Department of Labor and other state and federal regulatory proceedings, and advises employers on a full range of HR, employee relations planning, litigation management, risk avoidance and compliance issues.
