Europe: Training According to the EU AI Act
By CMS
January 30, 2025
From February 2, 2025, companies that use AI systems must make sure their employees have a basic understanding of how AI works on a technical level and of the opportunities and risks as well as the ethical and legal implications of AI (Art. 4 of the European AI Act).
Worklaw Europe Member CMS has developed an e-learning programme that can be used as a key component of AI literacy training in companies, "Artificial Intelligence – Basics and literacy training". It consists of interactive content that provides basic AI-related information in a way that is easy to understand.
The programme covers the following topics:
• What is AI?
• What are the technical principles of AI?
• What opportunities and risks does AI offer?
• What is regulated by the AI Act?
• What rights and obligations apply when using AI?
Our e-learning programme can be completed within 40 minutes and includes a short final test. If the final test is passed, a certificate can be issued. The final test can be used to document the completion of the e-learning programme and to check whether the participant has understood the content.
CMS operates the e-learning programme on its own learning platform. Alternatively, it is possible to embed the e-learning programme into a company's own learning platform.
If you are interested, we would be happy to arrange a suitable time for us to present our e-learning programmes to you in more detail. Please do not hesitate to contact us about this or with any further questions you may have.
